Play North West awarded National Lottery funding for music and wellbeing
We’re delighted to announce that Play North West CIC has received £4,700 from The National Lottery Community Fund for our new project, Wellbeing and Connection Through Music.
Made possible by National Lottery players, the project will bring free music and wellbeing sessions to Knowsley and the surrounding area — combining hands-on DJing and music-making with sound-based wellbeing practice, in a relaxed, inclusive group where everyone is welcome, including those with SEND.
Many people who would never walk through the door of a “wellbeing service” will come to make music. That’s the heart of this project: using creativity as a friendly front door to feeling calmer, more confident and more connected.
